Reinhart has 14 points (9G, 5A) in 15 games in the month of April. He has 4 points (2G, 2A) in 6 games against the Bruins.

King Cozens

The Sabres’ dynamic rookie made waves the other night sticking up for Drake Caggiula after a nasty hit.

Cozens has 3 points in 5 games against the Bruins and will look to add to those totals tonight.

Ryan Miller retirement

Legendary Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller announced this morning that he’ll be retiring at the end of this season.

Miller said, “Buffalo will always have a big part of my heart.” in his press conference this afternoon.

Miller is the all time winningest goalie in U.S. hockey history and won the Vezina with Buffalo in 2010.

News/Notes:

  • Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen gets his 3rd start; his first NHL win came against Boston last Friday.
  • Casey Mittelstadt is on a three-game point streak and has 13 points (8G, 5A) in the last 16 games.
  • Patrice Bergeron is back for the Bruins after missing last game against Buffalo.

Prediction:

Sabres fall short in a high-scoring game, 5-4.

… and the Bills do not draft a running back.

Corner or Edge it is. We’ll guess: Asante Samuel Jr.
